Why location choices matter
A city or ZIP code can point to more than one government or animal-services program. When the boundary could change the answer, we may ask for a street address. If the available information still does not identify one office, the result shows the possible official routes instead of choosing for you.
How we identify the local office
We compare the place you select with public information about city, county, regional, and contract service areas. A suggested office is not proof that your home is inside its service area. The official service-area page or local office has the final word.
Where the rules and fees come from
We use government pages, local codes, fee schedules, and official application information. An answer keeps fees, documents, and exceptions with the conditions published by the local authority and links back to those sources.
